An
eighteenth century beamed cottage in a cobbled yard - one of the
features of old Whitby. Ideally sleeps 4; 5 possible, but couples
or single guests most welcome. Quietly secluded, yet just a few
yards from Church Street in one of the oldest parts of Whitby;
within easy walking distance of the harbour and very close to
the sandy beach. The entrance to the yard is opposite Monks Haven
restaurant on Church Street. Shops, pubs and restaurants nearby.
Pets
welcome.
Ground
floor: Kitchen/diner - pine table and chairs, armchair, cooker,
microwave,fridge, toaster, kettle, radio, iron and ironing board,
walk-in cupboard.
Off half landing: Shower room with shower, handbasin and
toilet.
First
floor: Spacious lounge with double bed settee, single divan
bed, chest of drawers, armchair, coffee table, CD/radio/tape hi-fi,
colour television with Sky free-to-view channels.
Open
stairs (not suitable for the elderly) to attic room (limited
headroom): double bed, single bed, bedside unit. All bed linen
provided at no extra charge.
Fully
equipped, with gas central heating. ALL GAS AND ELECTRICITY INCLUDED
IN COTTAGE HIRE PRICE - NO EXTRAS.
Parking
outside the cottage for unloading and loading. Car park or street
parking nearby. Tablecloth, teatowels and dishcloths are provided,
but please bring your own towels. A cot is available if required.
Bookings
are from 3 p.m. A spare key will be available in the cottage.
Please vacate the cottage at 10.30 a.m. on the morning of your
departure.

THREE
NIGHT BREAKS:- Bookings are from Saturday or Wednesday.
i.e. Arriving Saturday and leaving Tuesday, or arriving Wednesday
and leaving Saturday.
Please
note that on Bank holidays, school holidays and other national
holidays that weekend only breaks are not available. N.B. 3 day
breaks are only available from November to March and exclude Bank
Holidays.
A deposit of one third is payable on booking, with the balance
payable 4 weeks before your holiday. Please send the deposit within
SIX DAYS of a telephone booking, otherwise the booking
will be cancelled. On receipt of your booking form and deposit
you will be sent a confirmation and receipt. The balance is payable
4 weeks before your holiday. When a property is cancelled, the
deposit is lost and unless the property is re-let, the outstanding
balance has to be paid in full. You will be sent a cottage key
and a map showing the exact location of the cottage, as well as
suggested free parking places, 7-10 days before the start of your
holiday.
